- All boaters should ensure responsible, ecological, and courteous conduct.
- Be aware of the presence of swimmers, non-motorized watercraft and loon nests and spawning areas near shorelines.
- Operate your sound system at a reasonable volume.
- On a personal watercraft, avoid chases, stunts, repeated circles, and capsizing.
- Be careful and avoid spills when refueling.
- Do not pump oily or waste water overboard.
- Do not throw any waste into the water.
- Do not wash your boat in the lake.
- Stay away from swimming birds and buoys.
