Personal information is information about an individual that allows that person to be identified. This information is confidential, i.e. it cannot be communicated to third parties without the consent of the person concerned, except in cases expressly provided for by law. By providing us with personal information, you agree to its processing as set out in this policy and you authorize the APLG to process your personal information for the purposes set out in this policy.
All APLG members who collect, use or disclose personal information are required to comply with this policy. This policy also extends to agents, service providers and partners with whom the APLG may share certain personal information for the purpose of carrying out a mandate or performing a service contract.
Agents, service providers and partners must offer, at a minimum, the same level of protection for personal information as the APLG.
We limit the personal information provided to these third parties to that which is reasonably necessary for them to perform their functions. Mandates and contracts entered into with third parties require them to take reasonable measures in accordance with the law to ensure the confidentiality of such information.
The nature and sensitivity of the information we collect about you will vary depending on the services we provide and the legal requirements with which we must comply.

The purposes for which we collect your personal information are identified at or before the time of collection.
