Ruta Kisielius
(Vaisvilaite), passed away
in her sleep on January 14,
2017, at 89 years old, with
family present after a 2
year extended care period at
the Marcelle-Ferron facility
in Brossard. Ruth's
accordion playing and food
preparations will be missed
by her husband of 64 years,
Justin, sons Michael (Mary
Anne, Shawn, Alexander),
Mark (Carrie, Justin Jr.
(Leanne) Scarlet, Jake,
Morgan) and Manfred (Carole,
Steven(Alyssa), Melissa) and
Great grandson Aiden, who
thank the 5th floor and all
the support staff at the
Marcelle-Ferron for their
help and support for the
past 2 years. Justin was a
daily visitor that felt
welcomed at any time. A
memorial service was held on
Saturday Jan 21, at St.
Casimir Lithuanian Church
3420 Parthenais Montreal. In
lieu of flowers any donation

29, 2016, at the age
of 79, passed away Mr.
Laurent Tousignant,
husband of Mrs. Nicole
Delisle. Besides his
wife, he is survived
by his daughter
Mireille (Gilles
Joly), his son
Marc-André (Amélie
Carrier), his grandson
Arnaud, his brother
Jean-Guy (Ghislaine),
his brothers-in-law
and sisters-in-law,
his nephews ans nieces
as well as many
parents and friends.

It is
with great
sadness that we

passing of Mr.
Jacques Cardin
at Montfort
Hospital,
Ottawa, on
November 29,
2016. He passed
away peacefully,
surrounded by
family, at the
age of 76. He
was the husband
of Mrs.
Françoise
(Vincent) Cardin
and father of
Philippe. After
his classical
studies at
Collège
Ste-Croix in
Montreal,
Jacques
completed his
certificate in
pedagogy (Brevet
A) at Jacques
Cartier normal
school. His
career led him
to work as a
Canadian
diplomat at the
immigration
Ministry in
France,
Australia,
Trinidad and
Tobago, Belgium,
United States
and the Ivory
Coast. He leaves
to mourn his
wife, Françoise
Cardin and his
son Philippe
Cardin (Marylène
Levesque), his
beloved grandson
Bruno, his
sisters:
Lucienne
(Jacques Sauvé),
Jeanine (Bernard
Carrière) and
Claire Dagenais,
his
brother-in-law
Gaston Brulotte
and his
sisters-in-law,
his nephews and
nieces as well
as his friends,
his neighbours
and former
colleagues. The

his life took
